On top of all the fun in Miami, we dropped into the Ferrari Challenge to cheer on one of the racers who is a dear friend of mine. Naturally he won first place with his beautiful Ferrari on a wonderful warm day out at Homestead.
We decided to head out to Lido Bayside at the Standard Hotel. It had the most charming outdoor patio with umbrellas, and a great laid back chill vibe. There was an amazing view of the water and of course, the boats taking advantage of a beautiful sunset. I only got a chance to take one food picture.
We had a whipped feta and watermelon dish that was to die for, a house made hummus that was light yet flavourful and the scallops in my picture were well cooked and the potato underneath a beautiful contrast.
Not only was the patio a great place to hang out, but the hotel had many other little hideaway spots such as firepits, hammocks and hidden garden walks and was offering a lot of wellness options such as yoga classes.
